What’s new.

Plain-English log of what shipped recently. Want to follow along more closely? The blog has the deeper dives.

    • Launch

AI Trip Builder is live (Pro plans). Tell us where, when, and who's coming — we'll generate a multi-stop plan with destinations, nights, daily budgets, highlights, and tips in about 30 seconds. Tweak anything before it lands as a real trip you can save toward. Five builds per day on Pro. Find it on the new "Build with AI ✨" tab when you start a new trip, or as the second button on the onboarding welcome screen.

    • AI Trip Builder

Save your home city on Account → Profile and the AI builder pre-fills "Starting from" for every trip. Toggle off "Same as start (round-trip)" if you're doing an open-jaw flight home — the AI uses both bookends to pick sensible arrival and departure cities and order your stops geographically.

    • AI Trip Builder

End date guard — typing or picking an end date earlier than the start date now shows an inline warning instead of letting you submit a trip that flows backwards in time.

    • Itinerary

AI-built and AI-suggested stops now show a small mustard "AI" chip in the stop title row, so you can see at a glance which destinations the AI proposed versus ones you added manually.

    • Itinerary

"Other costs" on the trip page now shows auto-generated flights and other AI-builder estimates with an "Est." tag, so they're visible from the Itinerary tab instead of only on Savings.

    • Savings

Simplified the savings page down to one weekly target and a single dashboard. The old Save / Book / Go phase split is gone — your weekly number now covers everything in your trip without splitting bookings into buckets.

    • Savings

New trip-runway timeline at the top of the page. Concrete dates anchor today and your departure, dots mark every payment with a due date, and a one-line saving-streak nudge sits underneath ("4 weeks in a row · last save 2 days ago").

    • Trip header

Editing the traveller chip now updates the trip name's "Family of N" suffix automatically and prompts you to revisit your trip costs (which are per-group totals, not per-person).

    • Trip header

New start-date guard — you can no longer pick a departure date more than a day in the past, which was quietly hiding the savings runway.

    • Help

Every signed-in page now shows a small "Need help or have a feature request?" line at the bottom with our support email.

    • Savings

Forgot to log a deposit last week? You can now edit the date on any past entry — click the pencil icon on the recent-activity list.

    • Savings

The “currently saving $X/week” line now only shows when we have at least a week of deposits to measure against. Stops the wildly wrong numbers that appeared after you logged several deposits on the same day.

    • Landing page

Added a “See it in action” section with real screenshots of the dashboard, itinerary, and savings plan, so you can see what the app actually looks like before signing up.

    • Dashboard

Your trip progress percentage now matches the savings page exactly. Both read from the same numbers, so they can't drift apart.

    • Itinerary

Each stop card shows your arrival and checkout dates, so you can see where you'll be on any given day without counting nights yourself.

    • Savings

Splitting a hotel payment into instalments no longer raises your weekly savings target by accident.

    • Account

Changing your password now asks for your current password first, to keep your account safer.

    • Documents

Tap anywhere on a document row to open it — not just the small arrow icon. You can also change a document's category after uploading.

    • Itinerary

New “+ Add Stop” button at the bottom of your itinerary, so you don't have to scroll back to the top every time you want to add another city.

    • Savings

A dedicated Savings page with a bigger progress bar, your weekly target, and a running log of your recent deposits.

    • Itinerary

Trips that cross a border now keep their real travel order — a Canada → USA → Canada trip shows as three separate groups, not two merged ones.

    • Landing page

A preview of the real progress bar near the top of the page, so visitors can see the main idea before scrolling.

    • Billing

Monthly and yearly Pro plans with secure Stripe checkout, plus a 7-day grace period if you decide to delete your account.

    • Launch

SaveToRoam is live — plan your trip, hit your weekly savings target, share the trip with your partner or travel group, and keep all your booking documents in one place.
