Wanderlog plans the route. SaveToRoam funds the trip.
You know where you're going. SaveToRoam turns the itinerary into a weekly savings target — so the trip actually happens instead of staying on the list.
What's the difference?
Wanderlog is built around maps, routes, and day-by-day logistics. It's excellent at organising where your family is going — stops, restaurants, activities, notes.
SaveToRoam is built around the money side of the trip. It connects your itinerary to a real cost estimate and tells you exactly what to set aside each week. When something changes — and it will — the weekly target updates automatically.
They answer different questions. Wanderlog answers: "What are we doing each day?" SaveToRoam answers: "Can we afford this, and are we on track?"

Designed around the trips you actually take.
Wanderlog is built for the world. SaveToRoam is built for Australian families planning Bali, Japan, New Zealand, SE Asia, and the trips closer to home.
All pricing is in AUD. The 60+ destination templates are calibrated around real costs for families flying out of Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane. School holiday timing, Qantas vs Jetstar tradeoffs, family-of-4 accommodation — it's all in there.
Wanderlog was great for the itinerary part. But I still didn't know if we could actually afford it. SaveToRoam solved that.
Know if the trip is affordable before you book.
Start with any of 60+ destination templates. SaveToRoam calculates the full trip cost and breaks it down to a weekly savings target. When plans change, the number catches up. No rebuilding.

Common questions
Can I use Wanderlog and SaveToRoam together?
Yes — they complement each other. Use Wanderlog for detailed route mapping and notes, SaveToRoam for the money side. Many families plan the route in a mapping tool and use SaveToRoam to track the cost and savings target.
Does SaveToRoam have a map view?
Yes — your itinerary plots on a map. Stops with a known location show up as numbered pins with a line linking them in order, so you can see the shape of the trip at a glance and tap a pin to jump straight to that stop. (A stop in a spot we can't geocode still lives in the itinerary list — just without a pin.) It's a trip overview, not a full route planner — Wanderlog still goes deeper on place search and day-by-day logistics. SaveToRoam's job is the money: what the trip costs and what to set aside each week.
Is SaveToRoam only for Australian families?
SaveToRoam works for any family saving toward a trip, but it's designed with Aussie families in mind — AUD pricing, Aussie-relevant destinations, and templates calibrated around the trips Australian families actually take.
Does SaveToRoam Pro cover my whole family or just me?
Yes — Pro for Two covers your partner on one subscription. They get the same Pro features you do, including on every trip you create. A common complaint about Wanderlog is that Premium only unlocks for the bill-payer in shared trips — Pro for Two fixes that for couples planning together.
